Walking on her knees

MIDDLEBURY, VT – During the time when most children transition from crawling to walking, our daughter Amanda walked on her knees. For a few amazing months anytime that Amanda wanted to go anywhere quickly, she’d pop up from a crawl onto her knees and go. Being new parents, we figured it was normal. However in the decade since this photograph was taken I’ve never spoken with another parent who’s child learned to walk this way. Just another amazing memory of my on again, off again stay-at-home Dad duties with my girls.
